As a local resident for over 20 years I have always wished that Milwaukie had more in the way of arts to offer its citizens like some of the other surrounding cities do. I know there are many local artists in Milwaukie and it would be great for the community to get to know them as well.
I joined the mob to add an interest not only in the Theater arts but a unique perspective coming from someone who has made popular an unusual form of art through our nationally known Halloween display. I thought that my experience of bringing attention to Milwaukie through artistic expression could be useful to the group and the community.
The small town feel and sense of local community at the same time being right next to a much larger city. My neighbors and local citizens are great people and I enjoy being a part of a great little city.
